Exciting News! The first draft of ALEXEIN Volume I, Golden Dawn, is complete!

After countless late nights and early mornings—three to four hours of writing during every snatched moment of sleep—I've finally finished the first draft of Golden Dawn! This is a major milestone, but the journey to publication is far from over.

Next up is a thorough read-through to assess the narrative flow, identify and correct mistakes, and add layers of detail and description. This process may even lead to the addition of new scenes—we'll see how the next phase unfolds!

This first volume, as many of you know, covers the meeting, engagement, marriage, and birth of Alexander the Great, focusing on his parents, the young Prince Philip II and Olympias. Their lives intertwine with the complex political dynamics of the Greek and Persian worlds and their tumultuous battles.

The ALEXEIN narrative is uniquely framed through the eyes of Bagoas II, one of Alexander's most trusted advisors, rumored to be his lover. Bagoas II’s own journey, from birth to his castration within a sacred ritual, forms a significant thread throughout this volume.

For my LGBTQ+ readers, I've woven in a compelling sub-narrative focusing on the male-to-male love dynamics within the Theban Sacred Band. I hope this addition enhances the main narrative and inspires you.

Every detail in Volume I is crucial, laying the groundwork for Volume II and the rest of Alexander the Great's epic saga. The next steps involve thorough proofreading and editing, book cover design, and uploading to Amazon for a sample print copy.
